Details:
Ring Nebula, in the constellation Lyra. It’s tiny—the diameter of the full moon is 10 times larger, so nearly 80 of these spots would fit on the surface of the full moon. And yet—the nebula is about 2,000 light-years away and has an actual diameter of nearly 1 light-year. If our Sun were to meet this fate, the entire solar system would vanish completely into this bubble.
