150mm focal length, one image every 4 minutes at f/11, ISO 100, 1/125s, with a sun filter, of course—so everything is black except for the crescent of the Sun. The foreground was photographed after sunset, also at a 150 mm focal length; it’s a two-row panorama made up of 3 images per row, so that the entire course of the solar eclipse fits in the frame, and then merged into a single image using Photoshop. Taken near us at the Schwanner Warte; there was a lighthearted, festive atmosphere there—some people sang songs, while many others simply sat on a picnic blanket in a relaxed atmosphere and watched the spectacle in the sky.
